Kicking for Daddy

So last night 7/24/11 was the very first time Daddy got to feel your kick lil girl. I have been feeling you since 13wks, going from just a lil flutter to full out body assult hahaha. I love it, sometimes it scares me when I'm not expecting it but then I just smile. People must think I'm crazy when I'm at the store or driving in the car and I get this HUGE smile on my face, its all because of you.  Last night we were laying in bed watching tv and I felt you winding up for some movement. I grabbed Daddy's hand and you kicked him twice.......he had a smile a mile wide.....it was amazing. If you only knew how much love you have waiting for you my lil sweetie, its abundant and overwhelming. I love you so much that I literally ache to hold you. I don't think I will ever put you down. Nursery Prep

so close yet so far away!

112 days to go ~ almost to double digits. I remember doing this last year counting down to the wedding. I am pretty sure she will be delivered earlier then Nov 3rd, which is exciting and scary all at the same time. As it gets closer I get more and more anxious. Life as I know it will be over and I will not longer exist, my life will revolve around her and Steve, and I am totally OK with that. Being a wife and mother is all I ever wanted in my life and now I almost have it all. I don't need money, I don't need a fancy car and house, I dont need tons of friends or to go out partying. My love and my world will be right at home and that FINE with me. Some people need to have everyone LOVE them and go on and on about them, I dont care. The people that know me, the REAL me, Love me and respect the fact that I speak my mind. I hope and pray my daughter is the same way. I love my girl so much that nothing or no one else even matters.......save the drama cause my life is soon to become a drama free zone and Facebook FREE.

How your baby's growing:

Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb.

Here are the 3 reasons why I cannot wait to be a Mommy! My beautiful neice Sabrina Elizabeth and my handsome nephews Joshua Shane and Dillon Michael.  They are the loves and the lights of my life always have been. Sabrina is worried things will change once Shyann is born, but like I told her my love for her will NEVER change. Yes I will be busy for awhile but I will never be too busy for these 3kids, they have given me reason to smile in the darkest hours of my life and have pulled me through the hard times. I will love them forever with all my heart and soul. There is room to love all 4 of them :)
